GCC Program Participation Agreement & Terms of Use
The Global Compassion Coalition (GCC) provides educational programs on HomeGround (Mighty Networks) and Thinkific. By registering for any GCC course or program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility & Age To ensure a mature and safe environment, you must be 18 years of age or older to register for our programs. By clicking "Agree," you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. This is an Educational Space I understand that GCC programs are educational—not treatment for any physical or mental health condition, and not a substitute for professional care. I take responsibility for my own experience and well-being. I understand that some practices (like mindfulness) may not be suitable for everyone, and I will proceed with caution or consult a professional if I have a history of trauma or mental health challenges.
3. Community Conduct & Safe Space Whether you are learning in a structured course or a community space, you agree to:
Treat others with respect: Harassment, discrimination, or demeaning language will result in removal from the program.
Respect Privacy: To encourage open sharing, please respect the privacy of fellow participants. Note that GCC cannot guarantee total confidentiality for information shared in public or group discussion areas.
Account Integrity: Your login credentials are for your personal use only.
4. Opinions & Non-Partisanship
Personal Views: Views expressed by participants or guest speakers are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of the GCC.
Non-Partisan Status: To protect GCC’s non-profit status, please do not use our program platforms to promote partisan political activities (such as campaigning for specific candidates).
5. Respecting the Work (Copyright) All program materials are the intellectual property of the GCC and its teachers. These are for your personal learning only; please do not share or distribute them without permission.
6. Accountability GCC reserves the right to de-register any participant who violates these terms to ensure the safety and integrity of our learning community.
